Hello!
Well, where do I start…We are from the Houston area, more specifically the humble/kingwood area.  My fiancé has been into cars from working on them to street performance practically his whole life.  I have been learning on the side, I’m into the electrical aspects of the car for some reason, I know sounds weird. He is teaching me about everything else. He is a mechanic and I am a theatrical carpenter. We currently own a Honda Si 07’ and Lancer GTS, and our new edition 91’ s13, which at the moment does not have an engine in it. (we are looking) We usually attend a lot of car meets/drag events in the Houston area but more recently started to go to drift events. He has always been into drifting, he used to drift for fun when he lived in Arizona. I know after the first meet I feel in love with the sport. The last event we went too was the Mexican Standoff in Mineral Wells. It was awesome, although the heat wasn’t.. lol  Smiley So are our goal is build a starter car for me to practice in and him and buy another to have and fine tune. He is going to teach me how to drift because I really want to get into driving. If others could give me driving pointers at meets or teach is also plus. I want to become an active member in the drifting community and help where ever we can. Any pointers are more than helpful and greatly appreciated.  If y’all have questions just hit me up.   Smiley we dont have pics of the 240 yet, will post when I take some.

Welcome, if you really want to get involved and be at the events but don't have a car yet, volunteers are always needed for running start and stuff!

You'll get sunburned, dehydrated, and frustrated, and complained at by people with no helmets/seatbelts, but it needs to be done!

Pro Tip:

The actual pro's don't post pro tips.

Don't get all whiney if I double check you if I get stuck doing grid.
