wow this is going to be fucking awesome!! could us non awesome guys still drive at this event??

Just wondering about this. I suck and don't want to ruin a tandem. Is there gonna be some free space for beginners? (Sorry, this would be my first MW event.)
Still hoping to go regardless!

yea usually there is a small 'beginners' course off to the side but i'm assuming because this is going to be THE BIGGEST EVENT IN TEXAS HISTORY that this time all the cones and room will be dedicated to the main course.... who knows we'll find out when we get there but plan on it being 1 course.

But yea like tyler said, go this month to get a feel for how things go down and you'll be more ready for the big event in october

Crap, I must be blind then because I didn't see anything for this month! Either way hopefully I can go to both.

edit: Do I need any kind of permission to be taking photos or anything like that? Who do I need to talk to if so?

I would expect there to be a tandem "approval" process for every driver who lacks significant experience.  After all, you can't expect to be welcomed in the train if you're going to spin out every other lap.
