Fabricated Motorsports Events for 2009

We have 2 different venues where we are currently hosting events.  The first, and where we have thrown over 35 events over the last several years is the Mineral Wells, TX airport.  If you would like to find out where it is, just use maps.google.com to find it, and you put in satellite view and see our tire marks!  Then just navigate your way out there.  The second is Gulf Greyhound Park in Houston, TX.  Theses venues have slightly different rules, so please read the rules for each event carefully, and look at the schedule for upcoming dates.  The Mineral Wells dates are posted all at once at the beginning of the year, and the Houston events are posted one at a time.  You have to check back a month or so in advance to see when they are coming up.

< Mineral Wells Airport, TX

Our Mineral Wells events are a relaxed, high speed place to drift.  We normally see entry speeds between 65-105 mph depending on how fast your car is, but it is almost always fast!  It costs $50 to drive, and $5 dollars to spectate.  Bring a helmet, sunscreen, a working car, and a good attitude.  You will see some awesome tandem there most months, with up to 6 + cars stacked up on each other drifting.  It is one of my all time favorite places to drive.  Spectators can ride along with a helmet.  Please click the flyer to the left for directions.

< Grand Sport Speedway Houston, TX

< Gulf Greyhound Park in Houston, TX

This event draws a bigger crowd than Mineral Wells, and the venue requires stricter insurance.  Because of that we have a rule book, please see it below.  Convertible cars need a roll bar minimum to drive, and if you would like to tandem in any car, a full 6 point cage is required.  A normal hard top car does not require a cage just to participate.  Drivers entry fee is $75 and must be paypaled in advance to erinshill at gmail.com before the day of the event, and spectators are $5 at the gate.  Spectators can ride along if they have an appropriate helmet with single runs.  Please click the flyer to the left for directions.

< Travis County Expo Center in Austin, TX

This will be a drift event in conjunction with a car show, and a cash prize for the winning drifters.  Please click the flyer to the left for more directions.  Drivers entry fee is $95 and must be paypaled in advance to erinshill at gmail.com before the day of the event, and spectators are $15 at the gate.
